Holders Ampem Darkoa and Police Ladies will face off in the Women’s FA Cup final on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in a much anticipated game.

League champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies, who are the current title holders look poised for action, knowing a win in this much-anticipated clash gives them the double for a second successive time.

The team has been ruthless in this campaign, seeing off heavy weights like Dormaa Soccer Candy Academy, Supreme Ladies, Kumasi Sports Academy, Prisons Ladies, before eliminating Army Ladies in a six-goal thriller (5:1) to book a place in the final.

Meanwhile, Police Ladies will be seeking to annex their second FA Cup title having beaten Fabulous Ladies in the very first edition in 2016.

The ‘service team’ have enjoyed an amazing campaign by dispatching the likes of Rootz Sistaz, Berry Ladies, Bolga All Stars Ladies and Pearlpia Ladies to get this far.

Striker Mary Amponsah, who has been in a devastating goal scoring form will headline the game for Ampem Darkoa while Philicity Asuako, looks set to solidify the backline of Police Ladies in the crunch fixture.

The game is set for a 4:00pm kick off and will be live on Max TV and the GFA Facebook page.
