Mr. Daniel Awuah-Darko – Chairman of Board of Trustees
He is an astute chartered insurer and currently the Board Chairman of Vanguard Assurance Company Limited. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A. Hons) degree in addition to the Associate Diploma of the Chartered Insurance Institute of London. Mr. Awuah-Darko had his insurance education at the Chartered Insurance Institute/London School of Insurance after which he had an intensive programme of field training in the London Market. Joining Vanguard Assurance in 1993, he has had the benefit of offshore training at Munich Re, Germany. He possesses over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry both overseas and locally. He currently serves on Boards of several companies.
Mr. Isaac Osei Yeboah - Vice Chairman
He is currently the Finance & Development Manager, Asante Gold Corporation (Bibiani Mine Operations) and President of Bibiani Gold Stars. Mr. Osei Yeboah is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana. He holds an Executive Master’s degree in Business Administration (CEMBA), Master’s degree in Accounting and currently pursuing MPhil (Accounting); all from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Isaac has 18 years working experience with several mining companies in Ghana. He is also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Ghana and the Ghana Institute of Taxation.
Ms. Sylvia Owusu-Ankomah - Member
She is currently the Corporate Relations Director, Diageo-Guinness Ghana PLC. Ms Owusu- Ankomah is a Regulatory Affairs and Stakeholder Management Professional with over 14 years of experience in strategy development, public policy advocacy, reputation management and compliance working with excellence driven organizations in Africa. She holds an MBA in Management from the Coventry University - UK and is an alumnus of the University of Ghana. She is currently pursuing an LLB with the University of London. Ms Owusu-Ankomah previously worked with AirtelTigo, MTN Ghana and the Volta River Authority.
Mr. Frederick Acheampong – Member
He is currently an Executive Council Member of the Ghana Football Association and an Executive Board Member of the Ghana Olympic Committee. Mr. Acheampong is a seasoned broadcaster with Kessben FM and TV and General Coordinator for the Confederation of African Football (CAF). He is a product of Mfantsipim School, holds BSc from the University of Cape Coast, MBA from the University of Wales-UK, LLB from the Central University and currently studying for LLM at the University of Ghana.
Nii Odartey Lamptey - Member
He is a Ghana Legend and a former National Football Team star who played in three Africa Cup of Nations in 1992, 1994 and 1996. He made 39 appearances and scored 11 goals for Ghana. Nii featured in the 1992 Olympic Games, the 1993 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Australia and the 1991 U-17 World Cup in Italy where Ghana won Gold. He played for Anderlecht in Belgium, PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands, Aston Villa and Coventry City in England before moving to Argentina (Club Athletic Union). Mr. Lamptey also played for Union De Sportif De Leiria in Portugal, Greuther Furth in Germany, Shandong Luneng in China and in the United Arab Emirates for Al Nasr FC as well as in his native country, Ghana for Kumasi Asante Kotoko. He is the founder and owner of Glow-Lamp Soccer Academy and Glow-Lamp International School.
