Basake based Holy Stars have opened a five point gap in Zone Two of the Access Bank Division One League after 13 games. Competing against giants like, Skyy FC, Ebusua Dwarfs, New Edubiase United, King Faisal and Swedru All Blacks, Holy have been absolutely sensational in the ongoing campaign with some mouthwatering performances much to the delight of their teaming followers.
They lead on the back of eight (9) wins, three (3) defeats and one (1) draw and sit at the top of the Zone Two table with 28 points - three points ahead of Soccer Intellectuals and last season's runners up Skyy FC.
The bottom three places are occupied by Future Stars (14 points), Asekem (14 points) and Young Red Bull FC (9 points) as they sit in 14th, 15th and 16th positions in the League table after 12 games.
Winner of the League after 30 round of matches will qualify for the 2024/25 Premier League season.
