The service ladies came in the game hoping to win their second title whilst Ampem Darkoa were hoping to win their second trophy of the season to win back to back double.

Police Ladies started on the right foot creating most of the chances but couldn’t make it count as the first half ended goalless.

The game ended 1:1 in regulation time and went straight into extra time.

Mary Amponsah scored two quick goals in two minutes in the 107th and 108th minutes to take the game beyond Police Ladies.

The Nanamma ladies become the first team in history to defend the Women’s FA Cup title.

The Techiman based side thus completes the double for the second time in the spin following a hard fought win against Hasaacas Ladies in the Women’s League.
