Referees Director of the Ghana Football Association Alex Kotey has met with players and officials of Medeama SC to educate them on the laws of the game ahead of their participation in the CAF Champions League.

Some of the key areas of discussion included, laws of the game, new changes and clarification to the laws, ie, offside - deliberate play vs deflection, handball, the case of different situations and consideration as well as Dos and Don‘ts for players and team officials.

Medeama SC will represent Ghana in the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League having won the 2022/23 betPawa Premier League.

The mauves and yellows have been paired with Nigerian side Remo Stars FC in the preliminary stage of the CAF Champions League.

The 1st leg of the two legged tie is scheduled for the Cape Coast stadium on Sunday, August 20, 2023.
