The Ghana Football Association (GFA) License D Coaching Course for the Upper West Region will open on Monday August 7 and end on Tuesday, August 15 2023 in Wa. The weeklong training course is for beginners.

Applicants who applied through the Upper West Regional Football Association (UWFA) are to take note of the dates and prepare for the course – which is meant for non-licence holders who wish to coach at the colts level and for future top up courses ranging from Licence C to Pro Licence.

Some of the key training areas include growth and development of young footballers, methods of coaching and cardio vascular resuscitation/administration of first aid.

Participants will also be taken through series of practical sessions. The sessions are led by selected GFA Coaching Instructors and Coach Educators including the Technical Director, Bernhard Lippert and Director of Coach Education, Professor Joseph Kwame Mintah.
