The Ghana Football Association will host an on-site course for the FIFA/CAF Coach Educators’ Development Pathway from November 21, 2023.

The FIFA Course will focus on the development of home-grown coach educators with over 150 hours of theory and practical courses linked to the fundamental competencies of coach educators.

Egypt, The Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, Libya, Nigeria and Sierra Leone are the selected countries to participate in the course with three coaches each.

Ghana would be represented by Dr. Prosper Narth Ogum, Maxwell Konadu, and Nana Agyemang after completing the online pre-qualification assignments.

The five (5) day course would be held at the Marriot Hotel in Accra.

FIFA is implementing a "blended" approach to maximise coach educator learning and development by using flexible learning opportunities, which allow coach educators to demonstrate competency mastery on their own pathway and at their own pace.

The FIFA Coach Educators Development Pathway programmes will shift control of learning to the coach educators themselves, whereas the technical experts will challenge and support the pathway either virtually or in a brick and mortar location away from home.

FIFA technical experts would, in the coming days, arrive in the country to lead the course with administrative support from Maxwell Caesar Kemeh, Administrative Manager at the GFA Technical Directorate, as the local Coordinator for the course.
