Hasaacas Ladies moved top of Group B after snatching victory from the jaws of rivals, Berry Ladies on Matchday 2 of the ongoing Women’s Premier Super Cup in Kyebi.

Berry Ladies’Martha Appiah had the first chance of the day but her looping effort drifted just wide after being put through by Victoria Salifu.

After close exchanges, the breakthrough finally came in the 48th minute as Fidous Yakubu produced magic from the edge of the box to beat Berry Ladies goalkeeper Grace Akrofi.

Ghana star Mukarama was fouled on the edge of the box inside the 48 minute to give an advantage to Hasaacas Ladies who made no mistake by slotting home for the opener.

Regina Donkor came close to fetching the equalizer for Berry Ladies but had her shot cleared off the lines by by Hasaacas goalkeeper, Diana in the 88th minute.

Fidous Yakubu of Hasaacas Ladies was adjudged player of the match after her fine display won the day for the former Premier League champions.
