On appointment

I would like to thank the Executive Committee and the President of the Association, Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku for the opportunity to serve. With this huge opportunity you would have to prove the reason why you were given it and I am happy because it tells a lot that they have believe in me and the committee members. I am hoping the team and I will succeed in the task ahead.

On initial deliberations with Committee members and team

The appointment came with a specific task to qualify the team to Columbia come August and from all the deliberation and meetings we had with the team, it is interesting to see everyone is ready and upbeat about qualification. The team is ready to continue putting in the hard work so I am positive that the team will qualify to Colombia.

On expectations

Expect the best from the Committee because it is made up of very sound and strong people and what we are seeking to do is to move the team to the next level. Our predecessors have done a lot of work by preparing the team to this level. We have come in at this point to make sure all the hard work that has been put in will yield the returns, which is to qualify and look at the next step of how to market the team and get corporate Ghana to associate themselves with the brand and sell the team to every Ghanaian.

On Women's football

This is the best time because every Ghanaian understand and know the Women game is picking up and it is an interesting time to be a part of the women’s game. We are hoping the committee members will do our best to move the team to the next level.
