Bechem United will face Medeama SC at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Matchday four of the betPawa Premier League on Saturday, October 7, 2023. Medeama SC go into the match on the back of their historic CAF Champions League group stage appearance.

Bechem United have lost two and won one of their opening matches in the League and look desperate to return to winning ways. The Hunters started the season with a 2-0 loss to Nsoatreman FC but rallied back to beat Dreams FC 1-0 in the second game before falling heavily to FC Samartex 4-1 at the Nana Nsenkyire Park.

Champions Medeama SC have been a pale shadow of themselves in the opening stages of the League following one draw and one defeat – but have an outstanding game against Nations FC to deal with. The mauve and yellows drew 2-2 with Accra Lions at home in the first game of the campaign and lost to Aduana FC on Matchday 2.

For the records - Bechem United are unbeaten at home against Medeama SC in their last three fixtures – having picked two wins and a draw at Fosu Gyeabuor Park.

Medeama SC are yet to score a goal at Bechem in their last three visits, drawing 0-0 in the 2020/21 and losing in two consecutive seasons - 4-0 in the 2021/22 and 1-0 in the 2022/23.

Medeama SC go into the game buoyed by their Champions League success against SC Horoya and will heavily rely on inform forward Jonathan Sowah, Daniel Lomotey, Jean Vital, Manuel Mantey, Karamadini Mamudu, Kofi Asmah and their shot stopper Felix Kyei.

Augustine Okrah scored on his third debut first Bechem United in their 4-1 loss to FC Samartex. The winger is back home after a disappointing spell with Simba FC. He will complement the likes of Francis Twene, Seth Kwadwo, Clinton Duodu, Emmanuel Avornyo, Joseth Kingful, Samuel Osei Kuffuor and Aaron Essel.

The 3pm kick off game will be broadcast live on StarTimes Adepa channel 247 on Saturday, October 7, 2023.
