Baba Musah scored in the 90th minute to give Skyy FC passage to the semi-final of the Division One League Super Cup as they beat Young Apostles 1-0 at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports complex on Wednesday.

The Daboase based side went into the game looking to become the first side to make the second round of the competition with a 100% record following a 2-0 win against Bofoakwa Tano in their opening match.

Young Apostles looked the better in the early exchanges as they pushed for the opening goal to unsettle the former but their effort came to naught as the first half ended without a goal.

Back from recess, Skyy FC took the game to the Sunyani lads but failed to take their chances until Baba Musah netted the match winner seconds before the final whistle.

The win takes Skyy FC to the top of the Group B table with 6 points – and a ticket to the semi-final with a game in hand.

Skyy FC will battle fellow contenders Nzema Kotoko in the final Group B match as Young Apostles face Bofoakwa Tano on Sunday, August 27, 2023.
