Baba Yahaya climbed off the bench to score a last gasp goal as Asante Kotoko came from behind to draw 1-1 with Karela United at the Baba Yara stadium Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors are without a win three League games having drawn with Heart of Lions and lost to Bibiani Goldstars in their two previous games.

Karela United stunned the home team as they  took an early lead through Evans Adomako in the 9th minute mark. The forward outrun Asante Kotoko defender Henry Ansu before planting the ball into the roof of the net for the opener.

The Reds pushed for the equalizer but we’re left without as the first half came to an end.

The pressure paid off in the closing stages as Baba Yahaya rescued a point to extend their winless run in six attempts.

The draw leaves Asante Kotoko in 17th place with 2 points following two draws and one defeat in the opening three games of the season.

While Karela United travel to Accra as guest of Great Olympics on Matchday 4, Asante Kotoko locks horns with Accra Lions on Friday.
