Ampem Darkoa Ladies have arrived at the Ghanaman Technical Center, Prampram to begin preparations for the CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU B qualifiers.

The Ghana Football Association offered them the facility free of charge as our contribution towards their campaign.

The 2023 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League Champions are expected to be in camp for two weeks beginning from Wednesday, August 2 to Wednesday, August 16, 2023 before departing to Benin City, Nigeria for the tournament.

A contingent of 26 players and 8 Technical team members are currently at the Technical Centre at Prampram to prepare for the tournament.

This is the third season that the GFA is supporting Ghana's representative in the Women’s Champions League. Hasaacas Ladies FC and Ampem Darkoa Ladies FC were beneficiaries in 2021 and 2022 respectively.

This fully paid camping is the first of many other supports the GFA will be rendering to the team in their bid to conquer WAFU B and grab a ticket to the main Champions League in Ivory Coast later in the year.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies are paired with AS Grande National du Niger and Amis Du Monde from Togo in Group B.

The tournament is scheduled on Friday, August 18, 2023 in Nigeria with the winner booking the only CAF Champions League ticket available to WAFU Zone B.
