Goals from Ivy Osei Owusu and Mukarama Abdulai ensured that the opening game of the 2023 Women’s Premier Super Cup ended in a draw.

Dreamz Ladies’ breakthrough came on the 23rd minute when Helena laid a cross close to the box for Ivy Owusu to smash home as they ended the first half with a 1-0 lead.

Right after recess, Abdulai Mukarama drew parity with a header in the 47th minute.

In the 80th minute, Dreamz Ladies’ Sarah Abrafi played a through-ball to Precious Asante, who side footed effort bobbled wide.

Both sides pushed for the match winner but failed to take their chances as the game ended 1-1 at Kyebi in the Eastern Region.

The second game of the day will be between Supreme Ladies and Berry Ladies at 3:00pm.
