The Ghana Football Association hereby confirms four clubs, Fabulous Ladies, Candy Soccer Academy, Thunder Queens and Ridge City Women relegated from the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League after finishing bottom of the table in their respective Zones.
Fabulous Ladies and Candy Soccer Academy finished 9th and 10th in the Northern Zone whiles Thunder Queens and Ridge City Women came last in the Southern Zone.
In the Southern Zone, Soccer Intellectuals and Police Ladies finished 7th and 8th to escape the drop with a tally of 21 points each.
Meanwhile record champions Hasaacas Ladies and holders Ampem Darkoa Ladies finished the season as table toppers for the third consecutive time.
The two sides will face off in the final at Dr. Kwame Kyei sports complex on Friday, May 12, 2023.
